By Air: The hotel is approximately 10 miles (16 km) from Cardiff Airport. There is a bus service form the airport at selected times. Alternatively, you can take a taxi. By Bus: There are bus stops all along Cathedral Road at regular intervals, with bus services running all around Cardiff and the surrounding area.
Family run, this small guest house is a recently refurbished Victorian property in the quiet, leafy suburb of Pontcanna, only a mile (1.6 km) from the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Central Railway Station. The Church Guesthouse is within easy walking distance of Cardiffs city centre and many of the major attractions. Sophia Gardens are just minutes away and the Cardiff International Arena (CIA) and Cardiff Castle are both around a mile away. Pontcanna is a peaceful, cosmopolitan area of Cardiff, with some very good shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. All of the refurbished rooms have an en suite shower room and some have baths. All rooms have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a family room available, but the guest house cannot provide cots. All guests are given their own key and are free to come and go as they please, accessing the building at any time. Free, unrestricted parking is available in the streets surrounding the guest house.
If you are due to arrive outside of the guest house's published check-in times, please contact reception in advance (contact details provided after booking). The guest house will add an additional cost to all payments made by credit card.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 10.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of GBP 10 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Full English breakfast costs GBP 5.00 per person. Parking: Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
