In this modern world, stress seems to be one of the major factors causing ill health. Migraines, tension of the neck, aching shoulders, anxiety and depression are an example.

All can lead to serious health problems.

Stress can even cause heart attack, stroke and cancer. It creates blockages in the meridians, blocking the free flow of energy, or Qi, through the body. This creates discomfort and disease.

Through research and study, I have formulated a unique therapy to combat these problems

Facial Treatments

Acupuncture laser treatment – using a laser specially designed for acupuncture points.

Acupuncture needles using fine small needles, penetrated at special points of the face. They stimulate the nerve endings to promote the muscle to develop and help the flow of blood through the skin. Also promotes the flow of nutrients & oxygen required for a naturally glowing, healthy complexion.

The skin represents the internal environment. This will require a diagnosis. Herbs may also be prescribed.

Conception

In Chinese medicine we believe conception originates in the kidneys.

The kidney stores our essence of life (genes from parents), governs birth & reproduction and controls the conception vessel, which is the ruler of the fetus.

There are several ways infertility can occur. Anemia leads to fatigue & hormonal imbalances. Signs of kidney weakness, back and/or knee pain, menstrual dysfunction, stress and emotions play a major role in conception.

For men, often-weak kidney energy from an excessive lifestyle, and poor nutrition can lead to low sperm count or poor motility.

Through acupuncture, herb and stress therapy, general health can be restored and rejuvenated in both man and woman.

Works well in conjunction with IVF treatment. Helps regulate menstrual cycle, and to treat miscarriage.

Success rates for the last 6 months - 4 pregnancies including 1 set of twins.

Neck & Back Problems

Neck

Neck pain can be very frustrating and irritating, so much so that the phrase ‘a pain in the neck’ has become a common metaphor.

Most neck pain originates in the muscles and joints of the neck, often accompanied by restricted movement. Stiffness can be in the neck and shoulders. Cold in the meridian will cause frozen shoulder. Whiplash injuries are accompanied by pain radiating through the thoracic area.

Back

Lower back pain can be from external factors, such as weather and cold & damp.

Sciatica, pain of the lower back, buttocks and pain in the front side or back the leg going down to the foot.

All these symptoms can benefit greatly from my treatments, including Acupuncture, cupping, massage and heat.
