Cardiff Muslim Primary School (previously Tabouk Community School) is a full-time independent school for girls and boys between the ages of 4-11 years old.

The school has strong roots in the local community and was founded by a small group of dedicated Brothers and Sisters from Cardiff in 1998. Their aim was very simple: to provide a caring, safe, happy and Islamic environment in which every student can discover and realise their potential.

Established as a charitable organisation (charity no. 1106782), CMPS has grown from humble beginnings into a comprehensive and established school, enrolling approximately 100 pupils. The core of the School’s service is providing the (British) National Curriculum alongside Islamic studies and Arabic, all entwined in a strong Islamic ethos and focus on the principles of Islamic character.

CMPS is registered with ESTYN, the office of Her Majesty's Inspectorate for Education and Training in Wales, and having undergone formal inspections is proud to have achieved some strong recommendations in such a short time of existence
