Presenting a portrait of a church is difficult as it does not present the church community nor specify the events that occur from week to week. Each church has her own character and contribution and a church's nature is not always dependent on the size of its membership, its size and location of the building nor on the nature and arrangement of its meetings. The Tabernacl has a traditional form, but is always willing to consider changes to meetings and the current needs. The Tabernacl is a member of the Baptist denomination with an emphasis on individuals' testimony and as a congregational church the local church's governance is esteemed. The worship and other activities have the Bible and devotion at their roots. We hope that all visitors will sense the sincerity and warmth of our welcome. All our services are in Welsh, but there is provision to help non-Welsh speakers to be able to follow the services too. The church's musical tradition is well-known to all who are familiar with the history of religion in Wales, and we have been fortunate that many of Wales' well-known musicians have been amongst our members.
