We are one of 3 Air Cadet Squadrons in Cardiff, Wales, and are based at Maindy Barracks in Whitchurch Road, Heath, Cardiff We offer many exciting activities such as flying, gliding, marksmanship, expeditions, abseiling, canoeing, assault course days, aircraft model making, summer camps and much much more combined with aviation related studies which over 2 or 3 years leads to a BTEC Award in Aviation Studies (equivalent to a GCSE in Science), a BTEC Certificate in Aviation Studies (equivalent to 2 GCSEs), and a BTEC First Diploma in Public Services (equivalent to 4 GCSEs).
